Where: Alvar Aalto Museum, Alvar Aallon katu 7
The Saturday of the Seminar culminates in an evening reception at the Alvar Aalto Museum. You can be sure of good food, drinks and pleasant company. After the reception, we will move on to the Museum of Central Finland for the opening of the MAXIMAL I MINIMAL exhibition. The evening reception is being hosted by the City of Jyväskylä.

Where: Museum of Central Finland, Alvar Aallon katu 7
The exhibition gives students from Finland’s Arts and Crafts institutes a chance to shine. During the spring, the event’s speakers have worked together with student groups on prototypes for a design project. The fascinating fruits of this design task challenge and subvert our traditional ways of thinking about the bookshelf.

Starting point: Museum of Central Finland, Alvar Aallon katu 7
The Guerrilla Lighting event will illuminate objects in the Ruusupuisto museum area for a fleeting moment. The light tour, which is open to everyone, starts from the Museum of Central Finland. Jyväskylä-based light designer Annukka Larsen has chosen the objects to be lit up during the tour, but these will only be revealed to participants when tour starts. Guerrilla Lighting is being staged by the Jyväskylä City of Light project.
